G1. Online Publishing

Online publishing is a pretty interesting class. At first, I didn’t really know that this class was about writing blogs and being a part of The Bulldog. So, I began this class winging it. Once I was introduced to it, I actually knew it was going to be a blast from the start. At the end of the day I am the happiest person when I have to go to online publishing instead of trig. I hate trig so much! I have the best class to be a part of. I sit next to Brittany and Raeanne and it is seriously so much fun! Well, then there was a seating arrangement and the three of us still sit next to each other. However, Austin Zelasko got sat by us. It was a pretty fun time, but then Raeanne got him removed from his seat to a different spot. So, we just blame Raeanne for everything now. But, we still love her. Now we have Devon by us and it is still pretty fun! Brittany, Raeanne, and I always laugh so much in this class. Brittany and I always end up balling our eyes out when we laugh. It is a great time because we are usually the ones to laugh at stupid things. The smallest things will amuse us and we get distracted easily by the things that go on during this class because they are so great. Another thing about online publishing is that for the blogs, I hate when Mr. Currin makes us write four choice blogs at once. And, this time is one of those times. I never know what to write about. It takes me more time to think about what I am going to write than actually writing the blogs. I hope this never happens again. However, this is a pretty good blog for being a choice one. And, that is it for all! Bye.

F4. Life of Family & Friends

My life is going well so far. I have a great family and friends that I know I couldn’t live without.  First off my family and I are so close. Ever since we were little we have just been one big happy family! We all grew up with sports in our lives, and I couldn’t imagine life without them. My three sisters and I all play them same sports, which are volleyball basketball and softball. We usually like to challenge each other to be better than the other, almost like a small competition between the three of us. My mom and dad are always there to support us in every sport. They are seriously the best parents ever. They are so dedicated to our sports we play and try to get to every single one of our games. Sometimes it doesn’t happen because they are trying to be at three places at once, but I understand if they can’t because I know they still tried. Our parents are like our managers when it comes to sports and I appreciate it so much. I wouldn’t replace my family for anything. I love them way too much. Also, I am so thankful for my friends that I have. I have many friends, however, there and certain ones that I am so close with. Throughout my life, friends have come and gone. But, right now I look back and realize that, that was the past and the present day is better. You always will find out who your true friends are, and sometimes I found that out the hard way. However, now I have friends that I know will be around for life. I know that they always have my back and that there is nothing that could come between us. Friends and family are very important thing to me, and they will always come first.

F3. My Kind of Music

Music is something that I don’t know if I could live without. It is something that will always keep you busy when you are in the middle of something or have nothing to do. I do so many things that are dealt with music. I listen to it in the car, sing karaoke, play it before sports games, fall asleep to it, and help me through happy and/or rough times. Music is definitely something that I can always relate to at different times. Music is words to a beat that help people get away from reality for a bit, and truly get into the feeling of the song and the fantasy. My favorite genre of music that I listen to is country music .I have grown up with country music throughout my life. That is my number one station that I always go to. I feel as if country music truly means something. The words, in a way, speak to you in any way you need it to. I mean, other music is great too, but I think country is more “down to earth”. I have my country singers that I definitely favor more than others. I love so many of them, but I especially love one certain singer. Her name is Taylor Swift. The minute I heard her very first song, I knew that she was going to be my number one country singer. Over the years she has come up with outstanding music. I respect that she writes her own music and that it is about personal experiences. It helps her get through certain times, as well as other people. I love her music. And, I am definitely glad that she became a country singer. Country music is something that will always be a part of my life, and I hope it will inspire others as it has inspired me.

F2. Movie Nighttttts!

Movies are at my top interests.  They are always a source to go to and enjoyable when you truly have nothing else to do. I have many movies that I adore, however I have top ones that are my all-time favorite! One of my top favorite movies is The Notebook. I still remember seeing the movie for the first time. It is probably the best love story movie that is made known to mankind. It is about two total strangers who meet at a carnival and it is basically love at first sight. The movie goes on with the couple being absolutely perfect and has a true relationship. Every girl wants a cute and perfect relationship like there’s, so everyone seriously needs to reevaluate the movie and see how things should be! My next favorite movie is The Lucky One. It is another love and romance movie. When I saw this movie, I was amazed. It was so well set up and has a great storyline. This movie is another great relationship one. It is all about overcoming obstacles and finding out that what is meant to be will find its way. The movie is the perfect example of true romance and I love it! Another great movie that I enjoy is the first Hunger Games movie! The other movies obviously haven’t come out yet, so I wouldn’t know which one I would like best. However, right now, I love the start of the series. It is a different kind of genre and storyline, which makes it so interesting. It has you always thinking what is coming up next and what is going to happen in the future. The action that goes on in the movie is unbelievable and keeps every one of the edge of their seats. I can’t wait for the next movies to come out!

F1. The Book

I really don’t enjoy reading. I especially don’t like when teachers make you read something, for example, an over the summer reading project. That annoys me a lot. I would take reading into consideration if I found something that I am very interested in. Finding something that truly interests me would keep me focused. I actually have one favorite book that I have read. When I was in 6^th grade, I read a book called Hidden Child of the Holocaust.  It is about a young girl who was alive in the times when Hitler ruled and Jews were discriminated. It is very interesting to read about the hardships she overcame and how brave she was at such a young age. Even though the Holocaust was one of the most tragic periods in history, it has to be one of my favorites to learn about. I think this is why I enjoyed this book. It showed me how lucky I am to live now and not back then. I couldn’t even imagine going through what most people did go through during this time. Even though I already knew a lot of background information about the Holocaust, it was good to hear a personal experience from someone. It is totally different, and I believe more touching, to hear it from a primary source. As I was reading, I could feel what she was feeling, not to the same extent, but still could as if I was right beside her. After reading this book, it made me realize that I have to give many people back then huge props because they are probably the most strong-hearted and courageous people. For the people that survived and are deceased, they will always be remembered as heroes because I don’t think many people today could have done it. This book was truly an eye-opener.

E4. Taylor Swift!

I am a huge fan of country music. I support many country singers; however I have a certain singer that I absolutely love! Her name is Taylor Swift. I would have to say that I am one of her biggest fans. I remember when she first became famous. I fell in love with her music right away. I connected to her music right immediately, as well as many other fans. However, there is no fan greater than I! But, I believe that the reason her music is so well liked is because she thinks of her fans as she writes her music. Her music is mostly directed towards the teen generation, and most teens these days like to relate to her music usually because of a situation that they are going through. She knows how to help people get through rough and happy times through her lyrics, which many people appreciate. Most of all she shows and tells how to stick up for yourself through her music and not let any boy mess with you. She truly sings the advice through the lyrics that reaches the hearts of so many fans. I have found out that her music is even more powerful in person! I went to the concert in Buffalo and it was outstanding! I had the best time with my best friend because all we did was dance and sing extremely loud to every song. It was most definitely one of the best experiences of my life! When she first came on stage, I was on the edge of tears because I was so excited. The music was twice as powerful because it was so much louder and was as if it was going right though me. The feeling was truly unexplainable! I hope to go to her concert in Pittsburgh this year with my same friend so we can experience the overwhelming pleasure all over again! I will forever be the best Taylor Swift fan!                         

E3. Twilight Series Extravaganza

I absolutely love movies! They are an easy way of entertainment and are always very widespread with ideas! A movie that is coming out soon is Breaking Dawn: Part 2! It comes to theaters on November 16, 2012, which is next Friday. I have been waiting so long for Part 2 of this series to arrive in theaters. Part 1 was amazing, and now I think that Part 2 will be even better! The series is so mesmerizing with all the action and drama that goes on. When I first discovered the Twilight series, I fell in love with it. The story line caught my eye right away and I have never been so interested in a series, other than Harry Potter of course. I was immediately flabbergasted with the characters in the series. My favorites are Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob, and Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen. I think that both of them are good-looking and very strong, but I would have to say that I am definitely on team Jacob. When the series began, fans formed these fake teams to be on, deciding which side you would pick for the series. I chose team Jacob, one because he is extremely good-looking, and second of all, because I think he would be better for Ella. He would definitely protect her, and she wouldn't have to be turned into a vampire, unless she was bit. Also, as I think that Ella and Edward make a good couple, I believe that Ella and Jacob would be even greater! They would be perfect and more adorable! And, so, I was upset when Ella chose Edward instead. However, it is what it is and I can’t wait to see Breaking Dawn: Part 2. It is the final book and movie, so it is going to be filled with a lot of excitement!      

E2. Turkey Time!

Thanksgiving is one of the best times of year! And, during this holiday, traditions are very common in my family. We always do the same things and continue to have fun each year with them! First off, on Thanksgiving Day, for some of my family, the day starts off very early. Except, I always sleep in and never want to get up. I love lying in my bed, taking in the smell of the cooking turkey. Sooner or later, I finally get up from bed because I want to watch some of the Macy’s Day Parade. I always miss it because I love to sleep, but I still try to catch some of it. Then, as the day goes on I help my mom out with preparing food to have it all ready by dinner time. The Thanksgiving dinner is seriously the best food I have ever had. There is nothing like it! My family and I always sit in the dining room for the dinner and use special plates and dishes for placing the food on. After the feast is over, everyone is always so full and has to take time out for a nap. That is definitely when you know it is an excellent dinner! And, after this one Thanksgiving, I get to have another one at my aunt’s house. The extended family from my dad’s side always goes to her house to have another feast. I get double the Thanksgiving and I love it! However, I have a favorite tradition that I saved for last. It comes before Thanksgiving and is always on a Friday. This day is called Black Friday. My older sister, mom, and I always go bright and early in the morning around 2 or 3 A.M. before the sun has even come up. Most people think this is crazy, but it is the best time ever! Shopping is twice as much fun this way! There is nothing that could replace my Thanksgiving  traditions.
