O1. The Buffalo Sabres

On Sunday, April 7th, the Buffalo Sabres defeated the New Jersey Red Devils 3 to 2 in a shootout. Gerbe was the only goal scorer in the shootout. Also, Miller having an all-around outstanding game for the team helped out the Sabres a lot. The win was a contributor to winning three straight games for the third time this year. It is a very exciting moment for the Sabres. There could be some hope for the playoffs. They are only four points away from the 8th place spot to make it into the playoffs. The New York Islanders are currently holding that spot. But, I believe the Sabres can boot them right out. For this specific game, the fans were pretty rowdy. There was a lot of booing toward the Sabres, especially because of how many times and at moments how long the puck stayed in their own end of the rink. I feel as if the fans are just getting sick of the same old Sabres. Yes, they are on a pretty good streak right now, but they need to keep the good things going for them. Everyone is getting tired of the little mistakes that cost them the game. No matter what, the fans will still support their team for every game. If they didn’t appreciate and love the Sabres, why would all the fans spend money to go to so many of the games? The arena is usually full of people. That still says something about the pride that the fans have in their Sabres. The booing a negative remarks that fans give the team should be an eye-opener for them that they need to step it up. Seeing the fans in the 100 level all on their feet shows interest and support. No matter what, the Buffalo fans are not going anywhere. I will always be a big Sabres fan and believe that anything can happen. I believe that the Sabres have all the right details to make it to the playoffs. The support is there for them along the way.
